We can not preserve the earth’s biological diversity and combat the climate emergency through conservation alone. Ecological restoration not only heals the earth, it brings together communities and helps them to flourish, it improves the quality of our air and water, and it inspires hope that humans and nature can thrive together.
Join us from June 21 - 24 for the 9th World Conference on Ecological Restoration
SER2021 is the leading global conference on ecological restoration. As a virtual event, it is our most inclusive to date. The conference is structured to provide opportunities to participate no matter what time zone you live in, and keynotes will be translated into several languages. Registration offers access to over 25 virtual field trips as well as over 700 oral presentation sessions, posters, workshops, and training courses.
Hear from global leaders driving innovative change in their communities, across national boundaries, and globally as they discuss themes that include:
- Restoration as a nature-based solution
- Restoration and community
- Restoration to address climate change and biodiversity loss,
- Transboundary approaches to restoration, and
- Restoration in challenging contexts
We invite participants from across the field of ecological restoration, including academics, researchers, practitioners, students, artists, economists, advocates, legislators, regulators, and others who support the field to join us virtually to connect, learn, and work towards catalyzing global change as we start the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration!
